The formulation of the Spektre concept is the brainchild of Filthy Rich and Paul Maddox. The staggering amount of success and experience within the notoriously hard to crack music production industry that both have achieved, is proof already that Spektre is one act to keep a watchful eye on.

Both in their early 20s Paul and Rich have achieved notoriety in their respective fields of dance music. Aside from all of his productions being signed by many of house musics biggest labels Richs tracks have received multiple plays on Radio 1 and support from DJs all over the world. This success has led to Rich recently signing to Serious Artist Management home to peers such as Valentino Kanzayani, UMEK and Jo Mills.

Paul has been producing some of the most upfront hard-edged music since the tender age of 15 while most of us were preoccupied with the playstation! This dedication to the studio has seen Pauls work championed by the leaders in his field as well as receiving significant support again from Radio 1.

It was through a mutual love of underground minimal techno and electronic experimentation that the pair began to form an understanding together in the studio. The outcome of this experimentation was the birth of Spektre. The thought process behind Spektre is that it will become more than just a name. The initial inspiration for their productions stems from early R&S releases, Joey Beltram Westbam right through to modern day luminaries M.A.N.D.Y, Booka Shade and Trentemoller. Their dark, minimal sound will be unleashed in the format of an EP on Dance Electric - this will just be the beginning as the pair have already started to make inroads into their debut artist album. This will spell the beginning of much more to come from Spektre; expect more releases, a live show incorporating Ableton Live and a whole host of other cutting edge technology.

DJ Mladen Tomic (Urban Beat, Adult, Fly Life Rec)

He was born in Banja Luka, where hi lives today. In 1996, he started to work as a DJ, because of his great devotion and love towards music. He worked as an amateur at Banja Luka clubs and started his professional work in 1998. In that same year, he started with the house music and has continued with it up till now. At that time, he mixed deep, tech-house and tribal. Later in 1999, he became associated with DJ Sinisa Tamamovic. The two of them established the DJ association ?Urban Beat?, which has been successfully organizing many parties and tours.

Since the beginning of 2002, the set has been done on three decks, mixing house, tech-house and techno, with more energy, variety and harder sound. At the present, he is a resident of Music Hall, a Banja Luka club. He is resident of Lucky Strike Clubbing, as well (Pulse). He has had many successful parties, followed by work with many local and foreign DJs (Trevor Rockliffe, Brenda Russel, Sven Vath, Jim Masters, Misjah, Oxia,Valentino Kanzyani, Tery Francis, Antoine Clamaran, Jamie Anderson, Ade Fenton, Ladida, Cricco Castelli, Cristian Varela, Space DJ?s, Deetron, Paul Hazendonk, Preach...).

He worked all around BiH (Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Doboj, Prijedor, Mostar, Bihac, Travnik, Zenica...), in Serbia and Montenegro (EXIT 04 festival NS, Nis, Sombor, Podgorica, H.Novi, Kotor...), Croatia (Krizevci,Rovinj..), Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh), Germany (Karlsruhe), Slovenia (Sezana, Maribor, N.Gorica), Macedonia (Skopje)?

Since 2002, except of working as a DJ, he has been producing electronic music. In june 2006, he releasead EP for Holland label Fly Life Records Dig by name "Neuro EP", which includes 4 tracks of his own. In September 2006. Neuro Ep was one of bestsellers Ep?s on Juno download store.

We expect his new releases very soon, on of them is remix for Axel Karakasis on Adult Records, which will be released in January 2007.

At the moment he spends his time working on production and organize parties by name Urban Beat Power.
